Community and Youth Tours

FBC Heritage Unlimited Museum invites the public to explore its treasures first hand. Guest are encouraged to participate in guided or individual tours of the Museum Gallery and the new Moore-Taylor Education Building. Must see exhibits include: The Black Church, Military Hall of Fame, Spotlight on Education. Early Settlers & Family Life, and Genealogy Research Center. Reservations are available for community and youth tours.

Family Genealogy

Do you want to discover your family history and start a family tree? A key focus of FBC Heritage Unlimited Museum is teaching families "how to" trace their roots. Staff will assist you on your journey to the past and answer specific questions and consult on various research issues. Our genealogy collection consists of family trees, census records, vital records (birth, death, marriage), funeral programs, cemetery records, school records, etc.
Black Churches

FBC Heritage Unlimited Museum proudly highlights the role that the churches played in the black community by showcasing and providing the histories of local area Fort Bend County churches between 1865-1965.

Veteran Exhibit

Fort Bend County Veterans played a pivital role in securing the freedoms that we have today and were often overlooked. The museum celebrates these veterans by bringing awareness to the community and highlighting thier accomplishments by sharing thier stories.
